From one generation to the next we always have and always will pass the lantern on in our winery, so that everything stays in a constant flow, just as it is in nature. For us tradition means to continuously strive for improvement, because this always was the foundation of our success, which although does not mean progress at all costs. The old ways must not be preserved for their own sake, when the new ones prove to be better. At the end, only experience will reveal what the best way is.
Today the Wasem family Estate is run with great success by the third and fourth generation. Holger Wasem oversees the winery together with his three sons. Julius and Phillip, who both gained degrees in viticulture and economy, are bringing their own ideas into the family business. Their son Gerhard and his team run the events & conferences division at Kloster Engelthal since 2017 with panache and all kind of innovations. Last but not least, Holger’s wife Karin oversees the restaurant & catering division.
